Through the lens of active learning and embodied education we generate opportunities that inspire curiosity and creativity as a means of establishing a deeper sense of connection.

At Stone Lions Farm we are blessed with a wealth of expertise...

based on the research we conduct we are able to provide opportunities for learning that cross the spectrum from the rudimentary and practical to the artistic and whimsical. Whether learning about closed-system compost heating, ayurvedic herbal interventions, energy medicine, meditation, or plant-based textile dying processes, you can count on a rich and transformative experience.

Many of our learning opportunities are connected to current studies, by becoming a participant, you also get to learn valuable skills that enhance vitality and wellbeing.

We offer online and in-person learning experiences, internships, independent studies, and intensives so check out our events calendar, sign up for our mailing list, or follow us on social media to stay up on the latest offerings and opportunities.

On Ground

Our on-ground learning opportunities are typically connected to research, taking place on the farm or on our connected 300 acres of forest and field that we lovingly call the Wyyldwood. Whether participating in something for a single day or longer, you can be sure that the experience will be guided by a framework of health and wellbeing.

The farm house itself feels like a sanctuary for the mind, body, and soul; a gathering place committed to facilitating well-being of self, society, and the natural world. Participants are welcome to take a pause and let the healing rhythm of the farm enhance their experience of wellness.

Examples of research and learning opportunities:

  • The influence of meditation on attention and awareness

  • The lived experience of participating in 100 days of QiGong

  • Exploring the bio-energetic processes of relationship between humans and non-humans.

  • Does spending time in nature enhance self-awareness, self-regulation, and self-coherence.

  • Does understanding ancestry and lineage influence health and wellbeing?

Our online offerings take place in collaboration with The Stone Lions Institute. Our online courses are diverse and transformative, enabling further exploration of research data and findings.

When you sign up for an online class you also have the opportunity to join our virtual farm community, housed in Mighty Networks. It's a great way to stay plugged in, connect, and feel supported even if you're unable to come to the farm.
